F10 Hand Scrub is the ideal hand decontaminant for when washing facilities are available.
The powerful core actives of F10 on which it is based are proven effective against bacterial, fungal and viral pathogens. It contains the equivalent of a 1:67 concentration of F10® SC, in excess of the dilution rate at which the independent testing found F10®SC to be effective against the more resilient pathogens such as circovirus (PBFD) and parvovirus. It is fast-acting and will eliminate gram positive bacteria, e.g. Staphylococcus spp in 15 seconds and gram negative, e.g. Clostridium difficile, Pseudomonas spp. and yeasts, e.g. Candida albicans in 30 seconds.
It has a proven long-lasting residual action – for a contact time of 1 minute, F10® Hand Scrub will achieve a >log8 (exceeding 100,000,000 times reduction in cell counts) and after repeated challenges still achieves > log 7 – 99.99999% kill for a residual period of 3 hours.
It has an irritation hazard rating of ‘zero’ on both intact and abraded skin, and is alcohol-free* and rich in emollients, meaning it is kind on hands and won’t dry them out. It is an ideal alternative to preparations containing chlorhexidene or iodine and will not cause skin irritations.
* – Due to the efficacy of the F10® actives, the F10® Hand Scrub does not need to contain alcohol to kill viruses – in fact is alcohol-free making it a lot kinder on hands than similar products in other ranges, and encouraging repeat use.
How to use F10® Hand Scrub
- Rinse hands with water
- Dispense two to three pumps (3 ml) onto hands, rub over skin, wash thoroughly for at least 3 minutes
- Repeat as necessary
- Dry on a paper towel
